VPN (Virtual Private Network) - definition

A VPN is an encrypted private connection which enables user to send or receive data in such a secure way from a device to shared or public network. User can send or receive request remotely. It also prevents unauthorized requests on the traffic and allows user to conduct work remotely. VPN is very widely used medium for corporate or enterprise environments.
