Bar - definition

Bars can be often found in mobile phones or in other places where there is network connectivity. It shows you the phone signals. This is really complex stuff to explain in a straight way. For example: Most of us could think in such a way where we assume more bars means greater signal which is not true at all. The signal strength is not related to the number of bars that you’re seeing in the top corner. In few circumstances, it is observed that even with 2 bars user can have maximum signal strength in different network bands. On the other hands, even in 5 bars the network connectivity was way slower than the two bars and also network was interrupting. So, it really can be proved by field test in phones. The original signal strength can be seen there and user can actually know the signal strength for real. It also varies from device to devices and also carrier to carrier.
