Widget - definition
Widgets are a part of specific app or feature which is used to view or use few feature of the dedicated app without opening the main app. For example: Weather app have their widgets which can be enables in any smartphone on the main screen to show the weather or forecast parameters. Or, a music app may have widgets by suing which the user can have the control over the play list or songs.
