Caps Lock - definition
Caps Lock is a dedicated toggle switch in keyboards that is used to freeze the Capital letter format. On the computer or mobile keyboard if we press a key to type something then by default lower case letter is typed as input. But to switch it to the upper case we usually press SHIFT+KEY, and when we release the SHIFT then it again goes in its primary state and types lower case letter. But if we want to type everything in the upper case letter and don’t want to keep pressing the SHIFT, then this one switch can easily solve the problem and freeze the Upper Case format. i.e.: If you press the Caps Lock key and type something then it’d look like “THIS SENTENCE IS TYPED USING THE CAPS LOCK ON MODE”.
