External Display - definition
In mobile devices, an external display is often compared to secondary displays. Many phone manufacturers include a secondary display attached with the phone in just at the opposite side of where the master display is situated. This type of display is usually used to show the notifications, incoming calls, taking selfies and showing date and times without bothering the main display, which is also power consuming at the same time.
