Tri-band - definition
Tri-band usually denotes when three different bands are transmitted separately. We often see this work mostly when buying an Wi-Fi router. Usually wireless routers have two different frequencies which are 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. But in tri-band facility it spreads three different frequencies via three different channels which are one (1) 2.4 GHz band and two (2) 5 GHz bands.
