IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) - definition

IMEI number is nothing but series of digits or a unique numbers which denotes only to that particular device. It is provided by the GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications). IMEI is embedded in a cellular device during the time of manufacturing. There are basically tons of usages of this unique number pattern such as: finding a stolen device, tracking log information, taping criminal activities and so on.
IMEI numbers are found on several places such as on the body of the gift box the comes with, written on the devices interior body (on a sticker) or inside the devices firmware. To find out the devices IMEI number from the devices go to your Dial Pad and Type *#06#, a pop up service message will appear with IMEI number/(s).
If a devices supports single SIM, then only one IMEI number will appear if there is two (2) then two different IMEI numbers will appears, if there is more than two (2) SIM cads options then IMEI will be accordingly.
