aptX - definition

aptX is a family of proprietary audio codec compression engines developed by Qualcomm. It helps to deliver lossless audio signals wirelessly to Bluetooth music peripherals. Most of the intermediate level Snapdragon processor comes with aptX technology support. aptX works by measuring the differences between one moment in time and the next and transmitting those differences.
