Face ID - definition

Face ID (Identification) is a security protocol for most Apple devices, also used in some other mobile devices. Face ID is considered the successor of Touch ID in Apple devices. Previously, the user had touched the fingerprint sensor to unlock a device or necessary security concern, but in Face ID the mobile device can automatically match the faceprint data with the existing sample and provide an output which makes the process much more faster and convenient as well.
Apple claimed their Face ID uses TrueDepth camera feature to make the process more precise and effective using InfraRed camera and Dot projector. By using these sensors device can detect the 3D sketch of the user's face and store it for necessary purposes such as locking the device itself, locking any application or blocking online banking, and so on.
Apple claimed only 1 random person in 1,000,000 can unlock or look into the device so the percentage becomes 0.0001% which is quite surprising.
Also, face recognition is present in other Android devices nowadays. Low budget and mid-budget devices don't have that many sensors and feature to get the result more precisely rather they use a regular image processing algorithm to match the matching print with the stored one.
How to use: Users have to provide face print from different angles by following showing steps to make the print much more precise and accurate.
