TCP/IP - definition

TCP/IP is one of the major topics when talking about the internet or data transmission mode. TCP/IP stands for Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol which is a communication protocol using which devices can get connected on the internet and transmit or receive data. It was developed by DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in the US), and now it is the global standard for internet communication.
