Key Guard - definition

Key guard is a way to lock the keypad in devices. It is mostly found in mobile device to avoid from dialing to a number or running an instruction accidentally. There are various ways to serve it’s purpose. This method is used from the very early period of keypad available mobile devices. Previously, feature phone used single lock and unlock key, later on the tech got upgraded and PIN was introduced. Still, now user can lock the mobile devices using PIN (4-digit or 5-digit). Also, nowadays smart phone have the accessibility to use more than the traditional PIN option. Currently, the most used key guard methods are finger print locking system, biometric scanning such as: eyerish scanning, face detection and so on.
