Base Station - definition

Base station is the center connectivity point which connects a device to other networks and receive/transmits the information to perspective destination. It can get connected with both devices and other base stations. It may consist one or more antenna for various purpose. Usually there are two types of antenna are used in base stations. One for communicating with cellular devices/modems and another type of antenna is used to communicate in between base station towers.
