Polyphonic ringtones - definition
Polyphonic ringtone is considered as the monophonic ringtone. In monophonic technology it can only play one note at a time where in polyphonic technology, up to 40 notes can be played at one time which produces more enriched and smoother sound. i.e.: In Nokia 1100 they’ve used monophonic ringtones but in Nokia 2600, polyphonic ringtone have been used.
