Haptics - definition
Haptics is a technology in which the interaction between humans and computers can be enhanced in such as way where the accessibility options can be increased. In the latest Apple iPhones, this feature can be found as Haptic Feedback, which is also referred to as 3D touch. The major working principle of haptic feedback is expanding the option of the specific parameter by employing extra pressure on the display. Such as: in iPhone, to open an app one needs to touch on the app icon, but if the user wants to see more useful options or features or quick access then it needs to press the icon with a light force and new options are popping up. It not only reduces the number of touches in a touch panel but also feels great when interacting with the device.
