Qi Wireless - definition

Qi, which is pronounced as Chee in China, is a standard for wireless inductive charging method. Many brands including Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Asus, Sony, OnePlus are working with the organization to deliver safer power to their mobile devices. Wireless charging is more likely a transformer, in which there are no connecting pins or points, rather it can transfer power wirelessly. To make sure of the safe power transmission for sensitive mobile devices Qi was developed. Qi Wireless is managed and maintained by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).
