Bandwidth - definition
The optimum amount of data which can be transmitted in a network, from one point to another point within specific amount of given time. It is a measurement of maximum speed capacity of a wired or wireless communication link in a specific computer network. It can express as 2 MBPS or 2 Mega Bits per Second. It means by that specific channel 2 Megabits of data can be transferred in 1 (one) second.
