Capacitive Touch Screen - definition

A capacitive touch screen panel is one of the most used touch screen technology nowadays. Unlike the resistive touch panels where user had to put mechanical pressure on the touch panel in order to get response, in capacitive touch panel, very few amount of electrical charge is drawn to the point of touch by human body, and need no extra force to work. It is way more responsive than the resistive touch panels, also draws less current, which helps the device to be more power efficient as well. It is also found that capacitive touch panels are more précised than resistive one.
