Burn - definition

Burn simply denotes burring a piece of paper of a house. But in computers, it denotes writing data into CD (Compact Disc) or DVD (Digital Versatile Disc). Because when we write any data in a CD/DVD then a LASER source is used to write the data into that disc by the burning process. The data in the disc get stored in 0’s or 1’s form. Burning sounds cooler than writing though!
